31 new apartments, commercial space and enhanced public realm across two contemporary buildings

JDA has designed a high-quality mixed-use development in Hounslow Town Centre, comprising two complementary buildings. The five-storey western building provides a commercial unit at ground floor with 21 residential apartments above, while the four-storey eastern building accommodates a further 10 apartments.

The uses a carefully considered material palette of high-quality materials including a dark brown facing brick, amber glazed brick and amber toned balconies and window surrounds, creating a distinctive contemporary character. New tree planting, landscaped public space and improved pedestrian routes will transform the setting, creating a greener, more welcoming environment.

The proposals also address the existing alleyway, helping to improve safety and reduce opportunities for anti-social behaviour, while establishing a more active and pedestrian-friendly boulevard for the town centre.
