St Leonards – Natural outdoor pool

A unique approach to an outdoor pool

In collaboration with GartenArt Swimming Ponds, JDA designed this 11m natural swimming pool as part of a wider new-build residential project. Carefully integrated into the surrounding landscape, the pool features a formal stone entrance with generous steps leading into the water. A timber jetty extends across the pool, complemented by a series of stepping stones that provide a secondary route across the water and add visual interest to the composition. The result is a tranquil, natural swimming environment designed to sit harmoniously within the garden and complement without detracting from the architecture of the new home.
