Extensions and Alterations to Grade II Listed Property

JDA previously worked on this beautiful Grade II listed house in 2015.

JDA obtained permission to extend the house that was originally built in the early 19th century and lies within the Metropolitan Green Belt. We created a new bay window which provided additional space and plenty of light to the kitchen.  The house was completely refurbished and historic features reinstated, including the original front entrance and staircase. Sustainable and breathable materials were used to improve the thermal performance and at the same time allow the house to ‘breathe’ and protect the historic fabric of the building.

The gardens were remodelled to accentuate the main elevation and entrance, with formal gardens to the front and bucolic lawns, pond and planting to the side. 

The alterations breathed new life into this historic building to create a wonderful family home perfectly suited to modern day living.
